Wine & Weave: Make your own Coasters - Evening Workshop

Unwind after your day with an evening of weaving, wine, and small snacks in a relaxed and creative atmosphere at my atelier in Het Wijkpaleis in Rotterdam.

During this 2-hour workshop, you'll get a gentle introduction to hand weaving on a frame loom while enjoying a glass of wine and taking your time to experiment. Whether you come on your own or with a friend, it's a chance to slow down, get creative, and meet new people.

You'll make a set of two handmade coasters, playing with different yarns, fabrics, textures, and colours to create your own combinations. I'll guide you through the basics of weaving, but there is no fixed design to follow. You can choose your own materials and colours and see where the weaving takes you.

The workshop is completely beginner-friendly, and all materials, wine, and small snacks are included. You'll leave with your two handmade coasters, ready to be enjoyed with your cup of coffee the next morning!

Please arrive 5 minutes before the workshop. I will meet participants in the hallway of Het Wijkpaleis and bring everyone up to the atelier together.

Cancellation policy

If you are unable to attend, please let me know by email at least 7 days before the workshop.

Cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours before the workshop can be rescheduled to another date (subject to availability), with a maximum of one reschedule per booking.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop cannot be refunded or rescheduled, as materials and preparation will already be in place.

In the unlikely event that the workshop needs to be cancelled or rescheduled from my side, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to a new date.
