Spend three creative hours exploring tapestry weaving at my atelier in Het Wijkpaleis, Rotterdam. In a relaxed studio setting, you will learn how to create a small woven wall hanging on a medium-sized frame.
During the workshop you will experiment with different weaving techniques while playing with textures, colors, and simple patterns. With plenty of time to weave, you can explore combining materials and developing your own color compositions.
You will also have the opportunity to experiment with thicker yarns and rope elements — a technique often present in my own weaving work.
The workshop is fully beginner-friendly and all materials are included. You will leave with your woven piece and your weaving frame to continue at home.
