Weave a Series of Small Woven Pieces - 3 hours

Join a 3-hour introduction to hand weaving at my atelier in Het Wijkpaleis in Rotterdam. In a relaxed and creative studio setting, you will learn the basics of weaving on a frame loom while exploring color, texture, and composition.

During the workshop, you will create a series of small woven pieces, experimenting with different yarns, materials, and color combinations to build a cohesive textile collection. You will also learn how to weave multiple pieces on a single frame loom using two different warp setups, allowing you to continue creating small woven works independently at home.

Working on a small format makes weaving approachable and playful while giving you the freedom to experiment creatively without feeling overwhelmed.

The workshop is fully beginner-friendly and all materials are included. Your woven pieces can be used as coasters, small textile artworks, or displayed together as a wall piece. You will also receive a small weaving booklet with tips and techniques so you can continue experimenting with weaving at home.

Cancellation policy

If you are unable to attend, please let me know by email at least 7 days before the workshop.

Cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours before the workshop can be rescheduled to another date (subject to availability), with a maximum of one reschedule per booking.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop cannot be refunded or rescheduled, as materials and preparation will already be in place.

In the unlikely event that the workshop needs to be cancelled or rescheduled from my side, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to a new date.
