Custom Commissions
Each commission is created specifically for the client and developed through a collaborative process. By submitting a commission request, you acknowledge that all artworks are handmade and individually produced.
Handmade Character
All artworks are woven by hand in my studio using a combination of reclaimed, recycled, and natural materials. Due to the handmade nature of the work, slight variations in colour, dimensions, texture, and composition may occur.
These variations are a natural part of the making process and contribute to the unique character of each piece. Visible traces of craftsmanship, subtle asymmetries, and material irregularities should not be considered defects.
Design Proposal
Each commission begins with a conversation and the development of a design proposal. The proposal serves as a guide for the final artwork.
While every effort is made to remain faithful to the approved design, minor variations may occur during the making process as materials and weaving techniques naturally influence the final result.
Dimensions
Dimensions provided for commission categories are approximate and intended as a guide.
Due to the handmade nature of the work, finished dimensions may vary slightly from the agreed measurements.
Colour
Colours may appear differently depending on ambient light, photography, screen settings, and surrounding environments.
For works incorporating hand-dyed materials or neon elements, slight colour variations may occur and are considered part of the unique character of the artwork.
Production Timeline
Production times vary depending on the size, complexity, and current studio schedule.
An estimated production timeline will be discussed and confirmed before production begins. Delays caused by material availability, supplier delays, shipping disruptions, or unforeseen circumstances may occasionally occur.
Payment
A 50% deposit is required before production begins.
The remaining balance is due upon completion of the artwork and prior to shipping, collection, or installation.
Production will not commence until the deposit has been received.
Shipping & Delivery
Shipping costs vary depending on the dimensions, weight, and destination of the artwork.
Estimated shipping costs will be discussed before production begins.
The client is responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Additional costs resulting from incorrect delivery details may be charged to the client.
Installation
Larger artworks may require appropriate wall fixings or professional installation.
The client is responsible for ensuring that the chosen location is suitable for the dimensions and weight of the artwork.
Installation services may be available for selected projects and will be discussed individually.
Care
To preserve the artwork, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, excessive humidity, or unsuitable environmental conditions.
Cleaning should be carried out gently and in accordance with any care instructions provided upon delivery.
Cancellations & Refunds
Because each commission is custom-made specifically for the client, cancellations, exchanges, or refunds are not possible once the design proposal has been approved and production has begun.
The 50% deposit is non-refundable once work has commenced.
Returns
Custom commissions cannot be returned or exchanged.
For ready-made artworks purchased directly from the website, return requests may be considered within 14 days of delivery, provided the artwork is returned in its original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
